Dr. Nguyen is a native of Texas and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She then went on to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas for her MD degree from 2008-2012. During her education at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, she received numerous honors including Paul N. Stalnaker Scholarship and the UTMB School of Medicine Annual Scholarship. After completing her medical school training, she continued at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for her residency in Internal Medicine from 2012-2015. She subsequently completed her Endocrinology Fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas from 2015-2017.
Dr. Nguyen is Board Certified in Internal Medicine since 2015. She is also Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism since 2017. She has medical licenses in Texas and Arizona.
Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish and Vietnamese. She enjoys her dog, hiking and outdoor activities, photography and travel.
